How do I know what kind of food my pet likes to eat?

Different pets like to eat different kinds of food. To find out what type of food your pet likes to eat, click on the Character Info button or press 'C' to bring up your character sheet. Clicking on the Pet tab at the bottom of the window will display your pet's information. Hold your mouse over the happiness icon to see what kind of food your pet likes to eat.
