World Of Warcraft, The One And Only

Graphics-9/10
The graphics are superb, crisp, and beautiful. The scenery is breath taking at it makes you stop and enjoy the game the whole much more. Even if it is laggy and you decide to turn the graphics down the game is still magnificent. Like some other MMORPG's the graphics are boring, and its the same landscape over and over again. Although in the Horde area The Barrens the land scape seems to drag itself on and on. The interface options even lets you add head bob, or take your helmet to see your hair blow in the wind. The huge towns, such as Iron Forge which can be laggy at times is cut into 6 or 7 different parts and every area has different scenery, and NPC's that move around. The huge boiling lava pit in the middle just enhances the scene.

Music-9/10
During grinding times the music might get a bit annoying, the sword effects and the death of your enemies gets on some nerves. But as you enter a capital the music turns into a heroic type which makes you feel good inside, it pumps you with some energy, the trumpets and everything...:D

Voice Acting-10/10
The voice acting is great, if you click on one of the NPC and they will have a small peice dialogue. That is paying attention to detail. The emote sayings work well, and if you type in "lol". Your character will actually laugh, and if you add a "?" your character will shrug his shoulders. Add a “/yell” you character will cup his hands over his mouth. There are tens of jokes you can share with your friends and not all of them are that bad. One of the human jokes about the spiff on Lord Of The Rings. Hilarious.

Game play-8/10
Start-When I started off it was a tiny cut scene, explaining the race I choose for my self. (Human). When I finally got to control my character it gave me an easy quest to go and kill some wolves. It was quite easy but a good tutor for fighting. So already it teached you how to accept a quest and fight in the first 3 minutes of game play. I didn't even read one sentence in the users manual until two weeks after and that was just to check the abbreviations.

Parties-In no time I was in a party with 4 people and we were doing quests and levelling together. The quests kept coming and coming and didn't end. Soon we were taking stuff double our level. There are so many types of looting ways. You can set it to Need Before Greed, or Group Loot, or Free For All. With parties you can do the impossible the you by yourself couldn't do.

PvP-The idea of Realm vs Realm is an excellent way for a PvP server. You can go with raids and take down hundreds of horde or go by yourself and cause a little mayhem. Either way, its still fun and exciting. You get pumped with energy when you see a group of horde or alliance running at you and your trying to defend a town. Battles can range from small one on one too hundred on hundred.

Skills-The skill system really lets you develop your character, at level 10 you get your first talent point to spend on a skill of your choice. With this you can make your guy a tank, offence or a total ranged. Really its all up to you. This is were strategies come in. You could have a lvl 60 vs a level 55 and the 55 had a better placement of talents than the 60. The 55 would win.

Profficencies-You can pick your own proficiencies such as Mining, Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Leather Working, Skinning, Enchanting, Alchemy, Herbalism and many more. Each one has its on ups and down and usually Rouges would be a Leather Working/Skinning. You can level them over 200 and find or buy different patterns to increase what you can make.

Control-8/10
When I first got on I used the arrows but after a day or two I went to the q,w,e,a,s,d. You can strafe side ways to dodge arrows or bullets. Even in water you can strafe. The controls activate as soon as you push the button. You can even press "z". And pull your weapon out. And its quick button way is superb. Press "l" and your quest log with open. Press "c" and your character sheet will open...etc.

Overall-9/10
A perfect game for any MMORPGer, with easy, controls, delicate skill system and amazing scenery makes the game a favourite for even the CORPGers. The only thing that takes away from it all is the 15$ per month fee. If you are going away for a week or two it takes away from the time you have and you can't help feeling a bit ripped off. But I really suggest you give this game the free month it gives you.
