Note that no trainers are listed in the Outlands. That's because even when you have the Burning Crusade you must return to Azeroth to train.

NPCs

There are many NPCs that are critical to your progres as a Hunter, they are the ones that supply Hunter only quests and can be found at the locations below. They are listed by zone and then city / area name, NPCs name and the quest they are involved in.

The Night Elf Hunter trainer that starts your pet quests is beside the inn at Dolanaar in Teldrassil will start pet quest, completion of pet quest occurs in Darnassus.
The Dwarf Hunter trainer that starts your pet quests is in Jharanos in Dun Morogh directly across from the inn.
The Tauren Hunter trainer that starts your pet quests is in Thunderbluff.
The Orc and Troll trainer is located in Razor Hill.
