Karazhan Maiden of Virtue Abilities

Introduction:
Standing guard in The Guest's Quarters, she is a Titan constructed to saveguard the ladies that have the duty to entertain the quests in their room. A test to the raids tank and healers, she is a optional boss but should nonetheless be killed to equip your raid better for the coming encounters.

She can be a tough challange for the MT, and also for the healers. There is alot of damage going around in this encounter, so healers will need to be alert and ready to use alot of mana to keep the raid alive. And the MT needs to learn how to move her around for optimal performance.

Since the damage is high, this fight needs to end fairly quick also. Luckily, it is one of the shorter encounters in Karazhan. Atleast if DPS are doing a good job.

The raid can easily enter her room if they stick close to the walls. She wont aggro unless someone gets to close to the pillars that are in the middle of the room. Entering her room and buff up is a good thing, so respawns of trash dont interfere with the raid during buffing or taciical discucions.. And the raid can also position themself before the fight, by sticking close to the walls.

Abilities:
Normal melee damage: Hits a plate user/bear druid for around 2500-3500 damage with normal equipment. Can almost one shoot kill cloth users.

Holy Fire: Deals Fire damage to a random ranged target. Deals 3000-3500 Fire damage intital, and then applies a damage over time effect, that deals 1750 Fire damage each 2 sec for a total of 12 sec. This debuff can and should be removed as fast as possable. Priests and Paladins should do that.

Holy Ground: A AoE effect damage ability, that deals 240-360 Holy damage in a 12 yard area around the Maiden. It deals damage every 3 sec, and is constantly in effect aslong as she is alive. Similiar to the paladins Consecration ability. Tactics around this Aoe will be explained more below.

Holy Wrath: A spell that hits a random target, and deals around 2000 holy damage. Will chain to other close by targets of possable. Increases damage to each target that it chains to. Vital that the raid spreads out betwenn pillar as much as possale, so the spell chains to as few people as possable. She only casts it each 20-25 sec.

Repetance: Her major speical ability, and the biggest difficulty for the raid to overcome. She uses repetance each 25-35 sec. It will put the entire raid in a meditation slumber for 10 seconds. Any damaged done to the sleeped target will wake that person up. It is undispellable, so the only means to remove it, is for her to do damage to a person.

The MT will be in constant range to her aura, and should be asleep for no longer then 1-2 sec. So tanking trough this should not be a trouble. The diffuclty lies in keeping the tank alive during Repentance. There are a number of ways to make sure the tank can stay alive long enough.

All healers should be ready to stand as close as possable to the middle area, without risking chaining the Holy Wrath spell. If possable, healers can try time Repetance and run abit closer to the middle just before it takes effect. Hard, but will help the MT do his job easier if healers are standing closer.

The MT needs to move the Maiden around during reptenace. As fast as possable move her close to healers, so her damage aura can wake them up, and give them the chance to apply healing before her damage kills the MT.

Healers should also if possable, stack Healing over time effects on the MT all the time, so small heals are present on the tank at all times. Will buy some time during repentance. Paladins if present, can also use Blessing of Sacriface on the MT, to awake when the MT takes damage during repetance. The important thing is to make sure, by all means, that the Tank stays alive.
