Karazhan Moroes Abilities

Introduction:
The steward of the tower, Moroes welcomes the raid in the Grand Ballroom. A true test to a raids coordination and teamwork. And also a endurance fight. The raid needs to be ready for a fairly long fight with differnt elements. The first "real" boss in Karazhan in many peoples eyes.

Moroes is a rogue like boss, with many abilties that have in common with the rogue class. He also comes with the support of 4 noble guests. The battle consists of controlling as many guests as possable with crowd control abilities like "Shackle" and "Freeze Trap". The guests that cannot be controlled, needs to be killed before the raid starts to deal damage to Moroes himself.

The "Guests" that come with Moroes is selected out of a pool of 6 possable ones. So they are completly random at each new reset of Karazhan. With a well balanced raid, this fight should prove to be no more then a short endurance test. But atleast 1 Priest is a must in this fight, for the "Shackle" ability. "Freeze Trap" works also, but is less relable.

Abilities:
Melee attack: Hits a plate/Bear user for 1600-2500 damage. Fast attack speed.
Blind: Ability that is used on the second highest aggro target. Normally the OT. Causes target to wander confussed for a few sec. Posion effect. Removable by Druids, Shamans and Paladins.
Gouge: Moroes will gouge the MT from time to time during the battle. Only way to prevent this ability, is to have the turn MT turn his back on Moroes. With a good OT and a alert dispeller of Blind, this should pose no real treat.

Special abilties:
Vanish: Moroes will during the course of the battle, use vanish and dissapear completly. All harmfull effects are removed from him, and he cannot be detected until he reappears again. Aggro will not be removed during vanish. And Moroes will always run back to his prime aggro target after he Garrotes a target and reappears again.

Garrote: He will use this ability every time he vanishes. He will return to the MT after Garrote has been applied to a raid member. Any raid member can be targeted by Garrote, and there is no way of knowing who he will use it on.

Garrote will apply a posion damage over time effect on its target. Normal posion removers cannot remove this effect. Such as "Abolish Posion" for example. The target will take 1000 damage each 3 sec for a total of 5 minutes. The only way of removing this effect will be by one of the abilites listed below:

Mages that specc into Frost tree, can use "Ice Block" to remove the Garrote ability from themselfs.
All dwarfs can use their racial ability, "Stone Form" to remove Garrote from themselfs.
Paladins can use "Blessing of Protection" on a target, to remove Garrote from that person.
Paladins can use "Divine Shield" to remove Garrote from themselfs.
Deing and using a "Soulstone" or ressing with a druids "Combat Ressurection" will remove the Garrote effect.

If paladins are in the raid, they should save their "Blessing of Protection" for another healer that cannot remove Garrote.
