Karazhan Moroes Tactics

Having either two priests, or a Priest and a Hunter is a great asset to the raid. And without any Hunter or priest, this battle will not be doable unless raid has 3 well geared tanks, and the rest of the raid has both extremly good healing and amazing DPS. So unless raid has acces to Tier 5 armor or better, having no hunters or priests along is not recommended.

The battle will start with MT aggroing Moroes, and tanking him below the small stairs directly infront of where he stands. If needed, OT should grab a tankable add, and drag it close to Moroes, so aggro can be built on both that and Moroes. If not needed, OT should just apply aggro on Moroes.

The rest of raid should start with killng the first add at once. No tanking should be needed on that add, and all dps should try to kill it as fast as possable. Once the first add goes down, the raid should switch to the second add target at once. Burn that down fast also and then turn on the raids third taget.

Depending on raid setup, raid will either have Moroes or another add as third target. If acces to two shackles, Moroes should always be the third target for the raid to kill. If only acces to one Shackle and Freeze Trap, kill the third add before engaging Moroes.

MT and OT will need to make sure to build good aggro on Moroes, so that he always turns on OT after he gouges MT. And always stays on MT after he Blinds OT. A paladin, druid or shaman should be ready on OT, to remove the Blind has soon as possable. Otherwise he will at some points, both Gouge MT and Blind OT, having him run off to his third aggro target. Thats a very bad scenario. Remove Blind as soon as possable.

Remove Garrote as possable as mentioned above. Otherwise healers need to keep an eye on those Garroted. A healing over time spell will take care of most of the Garrote damage on a person, making the healers able to focus more on MT and OT.

DPS should burn down Moroes as fast as possable. The longer it takes, the more Garrotes he will do to the raid. Once Moroes dies, finish off any remaining adds one by one in correct order.

Immunties of Moroes:
Moroes is Immune to taunt and charge abilties.
He is not immune to bleed effects, but his adds all are.
Immune to slowing effects and freeze effects. His adds are not immune to this.
Immune to any form of stuns or crowd control effects. All his adds are affected by stun abilties, and Paladin Fear unded, Shackle and Freeze Trap.
