WoW First Aid & Cooking Making Gold Guide

First aid is not a skill that you can earn tons of gold at. As you level your character, you need to make sure that you level your First Aid. This can really help you out in battle, as you can use your bandages when you need a quick heal after a monsterous fight or if you need to clear out some long lasting poisons out of your system. But, overall, First Aid won't make you a fortune - but you will make a decent amount off of the higher level bandages, so make sure that you level your skill as high as you can as you level your toon.

Cooking
Cooking is another secondary skill that you can pick up where you can make a bit of money. While it's another one of those that you can't really make a lot of money, especially when your skill is a low level, you can make some cash once you get it high enough. So, you want to make sure that you level this secondary profession as high as you can as well. There are a few recipes that you can learn to make as you level that will bring in some great amounts of gold for you. The main one is Deviate Delight, made from Deviate Fish that are found in the Barrens. Since these have a speciall effect on characters that eat them, they sell well on the AH. But, the recipe is a special drop that is hard to find, so the recipe for this dish is also high.

Of course, with the new expansion, there are plenty of great recipes and dishes that come along that you can learn to make as well that will bring you in some good cash. And, during the special events and holidays, there are special recipes that you can snatch up and then keep throughout the year to sell and make some good cash from. So, you always want to make sure that you have your skill up as high as possible so you can make anything needed.
